About the Session -

PHOCON is an annual conference organized by the Executive Body of Pediatric Hematology Oncology chapter (PHO) of The Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) which brings together over 500 professionals, including Pediatric Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Pediatricians, Pediatric Surgeons, Radiation Oncologists, Pathologists, Scientists, students and fellows from across the country in the field of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.

PHOSSCON is an opportunity for all those engaged in making a change for childhood cancer - you, your organization, a childhood cancer champion, or a pediatric oncology expert - to learn from the experts and each other, to share and showcase your work or some aspect of it, to network with like minded organizations, the doctors, and parents and survivors, to join the community of pediatric oncology support services, and to formally advocate for change in our chosen cause: childhood cancer.

This year a PHOSSCON Organizing Committee (POC) of NGOs working for the cause of childhood cancer has been constituted by 7 NGOs including Cankids…KidsCan (Delhi), Jiv Daya Foundation (Texas), Umeedein (Bhubaneswar), Indian Cancer Society, Ugam (Mumbai), CancerKids SOS (Mumbai), Hope Foundation (Kozikode).

The POC is working with the PHO executive and the LOC of PHOCON to execute PHOSSCON.
